The color restore feature in particular did an excellent job of bringing faded photos back to life in my tests.

In addition to letting you adjust resolution, contrast, brightness, and the like, the driver offers some digital enhancement features, including dust removal and backlight correction, that make it easy to improve the scan. The OCR module lets you scan and translate the image of scanned text into a searchable PDF file or an editable text file in a single step.
